About CarDoc
CarDoc.ca is a free, independent guide to car repair prices in Canada, developed by DigitalFix. We help drivers know what a fair price looks like before they say yes to a repair.

Independent
No shop, dealer or manufacturer pays to change our numbers. Ads and affiliate links, where we have them, never change an estimate, a verdict or a ranking, and there are none in the quote checker, the forms or your garage.
Where the numbers come from
Official sources such as Natural Resources Canada, Transport Canada and the U.S. EPA, published Canadian price guides, and prices drivers share with us after we check them. Our About Our Data page lists every source, and our Methodology page explains how we turn them into ranges and verdicts.
