Our goal
We want everyone to be able to use CarDoc. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, and we test pages with automated checks and by hand.
What we do
- Every page works with a keyboard, with visible focus and a “Skip to content” link.
- Pages use headings, labels and landmarks that screen readers can follow.
- Light, Dark and System themes, with text colours checked for contrast in both.
- If your device asks for reduced motion, animations stop.
- Everything in the 3D garage and 3D car view is also in the 2D or List view, which is one tap away and is used automatically on devices where 3D is slow or not available.
- Status is never shown by colour alone; it always has a word too.
Known limits
The 3D views are visual by nature; use the 2D or List view for the same information with a screen reader. The spending charts in your garage give their numbers to screen readers as text.
Tell us about a problem
If something is hard to use, please tell us what page and what happened: support@cardoc.ca. We will reply and work on a fix.
